Education Outcomes Fund (EOF) CEO Amel Karboul spoke during the recent Ghana Impact Dialogue: Creating A Ghanaian Impact Economy, convened by the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment (GSG) with support from the UK Department for International Development (DFID). The Dialogue was a side event linked to the SDGs and Investment Fair organized by the Ghanaian Ministry of Finance and the Ghana Investment Promotions Centre.
The event brought together national and global impact investors, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to discuss the shift towards a new impact economy in order to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
During her remarks, Karboul discussed EOF’s game-changing approach to driving results in education. She noted that rather than the traditional model of paying for education and youth employment programs up front, EOF incentivizes success by paying for the learning and employment results those programs deliver.
